Who We Are

Dr Arlini Singh
Founder & Ayurvedic Doctor
Dr. Arlini Singh is the heart and soul behind A-YUR-VEDA, bringing a wealth of wisdom and compassion to her practice as an Ayurvedic Doctor.
Originally from South Africa, Arlini’s journey is one of resilience, transformation, and a deep commitment to holistic healing.
Arlini holds a B.A. (Law) and an LL.B from her studies in South Africa, where she ran her own legal practice, advocating for justice and community empowerment. She also played a pivotal role in history as a presiding officer during the country’s first democratic election in 1994. During this time, she had the honor of meeting President Nelson Mandela and outgoing President
F.W. de Klerk, both Nobel Peace Prize laureates, a moment that left an indelible mark on her life.
Her dedication to community shines through her founding membership in the Circle Park Resident’s Association and the Kloof Hindu Society, where she helped foster connection and cultural pride.
After immigrating to Canada, Arlini contributed to the establishment of the Appleby Medical Centre, laying the groundwork for her future in healthcare. A life-changing moment came when a six-week illness left her bedridden, prompting her to discover the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda.
Inspired to transform her own health, she immersed herself in a rigorous five-year, fast-tracked study to become an Ayurvedic Doctor at California College of Ayurveda, United States, driven by a passion to empower others on their healing journeys.
Today, Arlini leads A-YUR-VEDA with a mission to blend
time-honored Ayurvedic principles with modern wellness, helping clients achieve balance and vitality.
Dr. Singh is a member of AAC (Ayurvedic Association of Canada) and AAPNA ( Association of Ayurvedic Professionals of North America)
When she’s not guiding patients, you can find her lost in a good book, baking delicious treats, or exploring the great outdoors on a hike.
